Garden Journal Oct. 27 – Nov. 9 These next two weeks were much the same, 2nd week a bit cooler. I love this time of year. It feels like fall finally. Took a beautiful drive to Little Rock on Halloween for a doctor’s appointment and the tree colors were gorgeous.
Swiss chard I planted this spring in a partially shaded area is happy with the cooler weather and putting on new leaves which I harvest and toss into a pan of soup.
Green tomatoes all over my plants, if only they’d turn green before the first freeze. Peppers are doing well.
My basil is still blooming, so is my rosemary. I love my monster sized rosemary plant, easy care. Basically I ignore it and it blooms throughout the year. Plenty of rosemary for us and others.
